Oregon's Secretary of State encourages voters who live more than 50 miles from a U.S. Postal Service processing center in Portland to return their ballots to drop boxes rather than relying on the mail system this close to the election. If the district's proposed bond measure passes, the matching OSCIM (Oregon School Capital Improvement Matching program) grant would cover 40% of the proposed bond projects with no repayment required.
