Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan

Attention Athena-Weston School District Families and Community:

As part of the requirement to continue to access federal funds in the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), districts must update their Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan every 6 months. Our original plan was created and adopted in August 2021. Recently the district made adjustments based on updated guidance and conditions. The district requests that stakeholders review the updated document. Public comment regarding updates to the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan will be added to the February 14, 2022 School Board Meeting Agenda.  The revised draft of the Safe Return to School Plan can be viewed on the main page of the district's website.
