Two years ago, the welding shop underwent a 150K revitalization grant. 

The scope of work included:

New multi-process welders
Two gas banks are piped to each welding booth to facilitate MIG and TIG welding processes.
Wall mounted fume extractors
45 ton hydraulic shear
Sand blasting cabinet
Sheet metal Slip Roller & Bending Break
Four new Oxy/fuel cutting and welding rigs
CNC Plasma Arc Table
Portable Plasma Arc machine
Exterior awning and roll up door for exterior work and storage

Additional improvements include recent Perkins fund grants for:

CNC Router for the woods and technology classes
Laser Engraver and Cutter
Additional 3D Printers
Additional Robotics Sets
Upgrades to 15 computers and one Laptop to support 3D modeling, 3D, and CNC design processes

New floor wood working machines to include a commercial grade combination sanding station; new router table and hand power tools.  

The photos below are of the crafted items are examples of CNC Plasma table work and the welding wedge which is the first project/assignment in arc welding.  Also you will see some beautiful rocking horses the wood shop students are creating. The fellow welding is Dylan Youncs.
