Mrs. Tompkins floral class of 9th and 10th graders learned about color in design and how to use color to make arrangements stand out and match different holidays. They also learned about the different media you can use to put an arrangement in like vases (pumpkins). They learned how to use floral foam and how to properly soak it. We also collected local greens from the park to use in the arrangements and learned different names of greens and flowers.
