Hello all, I am Valerie Murphy. I was born and raised in La Grande, OR. I was living in Portland for a while but moved back here about 2 years ago, and live outside of MF now.
I love pretty much all outdoor recreational activities and have trouble sitting still inside for too long. I live with my husband and two kids (a 4-year-old and almost 2-year-old), along with our goats and mini fluffy cows.
A fun fact about me is that I used to work with monkeys for OHSU right after college.
I am the most excited about settling into my new role as a teacher at Weston-McEwen. So far I have loved getting to know everyone and am very excited to join the team.
