Attention Athena-Weston Families:
Yesterday, Governor Brown directed the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education to draft rules mandating face coverings indoors for all K-12 schools. This includes all students, staff, contractors, visitors, and volunteers. This rule, once formally adopted, will also apply to summer programming.
The district will continue to adapt and adjust to changing conditions and requirements while providing as much stability and as many options as we are able. I appreciate the patience, understanding and resilience of our students, families, staff, and community as we navigate this pandemic together. The Athena-Weston School District has a strong commitment to its students and families, and we will work with you in support of your children.
