American FFA Degree Recipients

Weston-McEwen FFA and the Athena-Weston School District are excited to announce our two American FFA Degree recipients for 2020! Amie Coffman and Patton Wright have worked tirelessly to earn the highest degree that FFA can bestow.  American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence.

Just a few of the requirements for the American FFA Degree are: that the students must earn greater than $10,000 from their Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE), work over 50 hours of community service, and invest over 500 hours in agriculture education.

Patton Wright – American FFA Degree 2020

Patton has raised cattle, pigs, goats, and chickens for his SAE project.  He plans to become a nurse and will do amazing things for people in the healthcare field.  Congratulations Patton!
