Unanticipated icy conditions on roadways in Athena and Weston developed overnight, creating unsafe driving conditions in and around the towns of Athena and Weston. For this reason the Athena Weston School District is closed today Friday January twenty third. When school is closed due to inclement weather, athletic and other school events are also canceled. The District will communicate dates for rescheduled events as soon as possible. Thank you.
