The bands at Weston Middle School and Weston-McEwen High School are getting ready for their Winter Concert, which is on Wednesday, December 17th at 6:30 PM in the WMHS Gym.
District Band Director Jacob Gau said the bands will play several Christmas classics, some unusual variations on Christmas classics, and there will be a surprise at the end of the concert.
The WMHS Pipe and Drum Band is also busy preparing for the traditional halftime show performance at a basketball game in January. The band will first play two pipe and drum songs, then Highland dancers will perform, followed by a full military bagpipe band demonstration.
The date of the halftime show is Friday, January 30th.
