Mike Shields

  • graduated from McEwen High School in 1964

  • while in high school earned many honors in basketball, track and field, baseball and football

  • attended BMCC where he played basketball

  • continued his education at Eastern Oregon State University continuing to play basketball earning the MVP two consecutive years

  • graduated from EOU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education

  • taught& coached at Estacada Junior High and Molalla High School

  • Earned his Masters Degree through Lewis and Clark College

  • took the position of Assistant Principal and later Principal at Molalla High School

  • in 1985 was voted Molalla Citizen of the Year

  • in 1990 he became Associate Principa at Canby High School were he worked until 2000

  • worked as a student teacher supervisor for George Fox University

  • worked as an Intermin Administrative position at the Forest Grove School District
