Due to hazardous road conditions, Athena Weston School District will be closed today, January 4th.
The Athena Weston School District will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4th. School will begin at 10am for students. The district will further evaluate road conditions in the morning and notify families if there are any updates.
The following bus routes will NOT run tomorrow due to ongoing road closures: Mountain Route, River Route, Pine Creek Route. Students living along the canceled routes will be marked excused. In addition, there will be NO bus stop at the Athena Softball Park tomorrow.
Parents and high school students who plan to drive to school on Tuesday should enter and exit school drop off lanes and parking areas with caution due to narrow lanes and areas still blocked by snow.
