Athena-Weston School District and its Board of Directors are considering various options for submitting a potential capital construction bond to voters in November 2025. The Community Bond Advisory Committee has been meeting since September 2024 to review district facilities and develop a long-term plan for addressing capital improvement projects related to facility needs.

Open Houses will include facility tours and a presentation about why the bond is needed and what the proposed projects are.

Community Bond Advisory Committee Information
This committee, which is comprised of 21 community members from Athena and Weston as well as necessary administrative and supportive staff, was charged with considering various options for submitting a potential capital construction bond to voters in November 2025. The committee has met monthly since September 2024 to review district facilities and develop a long-term plan for addressing capital improvement projects related to facility needs. The committee will submit their recommendation to the School Board.
